Coin page

Automations and tasks

Strategies that trade the coin for you from your wallets (AutoSell and AutoBuy, DCA and limit ladders), and the task controls that pause, stop or sell out of each.

The bottom of the trade panel lists only the automations that are on, each saying what it's doing, with Manage and its running tasks' controls. Add opens any of them to set it up. Automations run on Coinwave's servers, so they keep going when you close the page. Running ones also show in the Orders table, and on the chart.

Tasks

Everything running on the coin by itself is a task: AutoSell and AutoBuy strategies, DCA, and buys held back from the launch. They're listed under the automations, held buys first, then oldest first, each with how far along it is. Point at one (or tab to it) and its three controls take the place of its progress:

Pause / Resume
A paused task makes no trades until you resume it, and time paused doesn't count against its duration. For held buys this is Send now: they go out at today's price.
Stop
Ends the task for good; what it traded stays traded. For held buys this is Call off: they never go out, and their wallets keep the money.
Sell all
Press twice. Pauses the task, then sells everything in that task's wallets.

The first three tasks also have hotkeys: hold Space and press 4 5 6 to pause or resume, 7 8 9 to stop. Nuke stops every task before it sells.

AutoSell and AutoBuy

Run one or more strategies at once (Add strategy). Each running one can be paused, changed or ended.

Counter trading
Trades against other people's trades: AutoSell sells a share (the replication factor, 20% to start) of each outside buy, AutoBuy buys into outside sells. A trigger sets which trades count.
DCA
Sells or buys a fixed or random amount every interval, from a minute up to 24 hours apart.
Limit orders
A ladder of orders at market caps you set, each further from today's than the last. See Limit and grid orders.

Counter trading and DCA can be limited to a market cap range, and end after an amount or a time. Advanced sets the wallets, a whitelist of traders to ignore (your own wallets included by default), a start delay and slippage.

Volume Bot

Volume Bot buys and sells the coin from the wallets you pick until it reaches a target volume, in dollars or the chain's coin. Pace it by Duration, the time it has to reach the target, or by Delay, the shortest and longest wait between trades. Its estimate shows the trades, what they cost and the balance the wallets need before it starts.

Trade sizes
Paced by duration, the bot works each trade's size out from the target and the time. Turn on Custom Trade Amounts, or pace by delay, and you set it: one amount for every trade, or a random one between a smallest and a largest.
Execution
Organic spreads the trades across the session. Bundle buys and sells in the same block, on chains that have bundles.
Advanced
Buys and sells or one way only, a limit on trades per wallet, a stop when outside buys arrive, and Unwind at the end to sell what the wallets still hold.

Pause and Resume are on each running session's More menu. Nuke cancels it before it sells.
