Launching
Group launches
Several people put SOL into one group wallet and launch a coin together. Shares, costs and creator fees are worked out for everyone, members can sell together, and the group's money can only buy its coin or come back to them.
A group is for launching with people who shouldn't have to trust each other with their SOL: a coach and their students, or friends splitting a launch. Everyone keeps their SOL in their own treasury until the launch is ready. Then it moves into a group wallet Coinwave holds, and the group's managers launch and run the coin from it inside terms everyone saw before paying in.
Opening a group
In Bundle Studio, Group launch in the bar turns a Pump.fun draft into a group. Name it, pick who can find it (Invite only, Followers or Public) and set the terms. The draft moves into the group, and you become its host and first member.
- Putting in
- The least and most each member commits, and an optional cap on the whole group.
- Seats
- Up to 10 people, the host included. Pump.fun splits creator fees between at most 10 wallets.
- Launches with
- How many must be ready for the group to go ahead.
- Spent at launch
- The most of the group wallet the launch's wallets may be funded with. Buying more after launch has its own limit.
- After launch
- Whether managers may sell and set take-profits and stop-losses.
- Host cut
- Up to 25% of creator fees to the host.
- Members first
- Managers can't take their own share out for 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days after launch.
- Wind down
- Optionally, a day the group closes and pays out by itself.
The lobby
Each group has a lobby with its seats, the group wallet, the creator-fee split, the terms, and a chat and log. Invite people by username or with a join link. Followers and public groups also appear on the Lobbies page. Once every seat is taken, people join a queue, and when a seat frees up the first in line has a minute to take it.
Ready check
When enough people are seated, a manager starts the ready check. Everyone with a seat gets 30 seconds to accept, wherever they are in the app. Accepting moves their commitment into the group wallet. If enough accept, the group is funded with them, and shares are fixed by what each put in. Anyone who didn't accept keeps their SOL and their seat. If too few accept, everything goes back.
Cuts
Before the ready check, any member can propose a cut of creator fees for someone, such as whoever made the launch video. It applies only once every seated member agrees, and agreed cuts are capped at 20% together. Cuts come out of creator fees only, never anyone's tokens or SOL.
Launching and after
Managers launch from Bundle Studio, with the group wallet as the treasury. The creator-fee split (the host's cut, agreed cuts, and the rest by share) is written into the launch on Pump.fun and can't change after. Each part is paid straight to that member's own treasury.
- What sells bring in comes back to the group wallet and is paid out to members by share, automatically.
- Take my share out takes a quarter, half, three quarters or all of your share, as the tokens or sold for SOL. Everyone else's share grows to fill the gap.
- Close group sends each member their share of the tokens and pays out everything left.
- Cancel group before launch gives everyone back what they put in.
Selling together
Any member can put up a group sell of part of their own share: in a few minutes, when the market cap reaches a level, or if it falls to one. Others can join with the same part of theirs. When it goes, everyone who joined sells in one go at the same price, and each is paid for their own tokens. Whoever stays out keeps theirs. Members are selling their own share, so this works even when the terms don't let managers sell.
Changing the terms
After the group is funded, any member can propose new terms: whether managers may sell or set take-profits and stop-losses, how much more they may buy, members first, and the wind-down date. The change applies only once every member with a share agrees, and one no ends it.
Profiles show the groups someone hosted and joined, and how each went for its members. Invite-only groups show only to the people in them.
